About

ABOUT EXAMINED MIND

Philosophy has a reputation for being abstract, theoretical, and, let’s be honest—sometimes completely disconnected from real life. But what if it wasn’t? What if philosophy could actually help you make better decisions, gain clarity, and navigate life’s challenges with more confidence?

That’s what this website is about. Practical philosophy—ideas that aren’t just interesting to read about but that you can actually apply. No academic jargon, no endless debates over whether a chair is really a chair (okay, maybe just a little of that). Instead, you’ll find reflections on ancient wisdom and modern philosophy, all aimed at helping you think critically and act decisively in everyday life.

Who’s Behind This Website?

Hey, I’m Tim. A philosophy enthusiast, lifelong learner, and firm believer that self-reflection is one of the best tools we have for growth. A while ago, I found myself stuck—life looked good on paper, but something wasn’t clicking. That’s when I turned to philosophy to help me break out of my comfort zone. It worked. I moved abroad, challenged myself, and embraced change. Now, I live in Athens, walking the same streets where some of history’s greatest thinkers once debated and questioned everything. And I’m still examining, questioning, and learning—this website is part of that process.
